This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to applications developed and published by Mindfork Studios ("Company") and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Policy, all references to the Company include takeoutchamp.mindforkstudios.com. The Company application is a mobile and web application. By using the Company application, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
Important: All file processing in Takeout Champ occurs entirely within your browser. Your Google Takeout files are never uploaded to or stored on Mindfork Studios servers. Billing and payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and is not stored by Mindfork Studios.
I. Collection of Your Personal Information
In order to better provide you with products and services offered, the Company may collect personally identifiable information, such as your email address.
If you purchase the Company's products and services, billing and payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not collect or store your credit card information.
We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services, including: (a) registering for an account; (b) sending us an email message; (c) submitting payment information when ordering and purchasing products and services.
II. Use of Your Personal Information
The Company collects and uses your personal information in the following ways:
- To operate and deliver the services you have requested.
- To provide you with notices about your account.
- To carry out the Company's obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
- To notify you about changes to our applications or any products or services we offer.
- To maintain the security of the Company's services and prevent fraud or misuse.
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests.
- For user authentication and payment records.
III. Sharing Information with Third Parties
The Company does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties. The Company does not sell biometric data to third parties.
The Company may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email, provide customer support, or process payments. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to the Company.
The Company may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of the Company; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Company, or the public.
IV. Right to Deletion
You may request deletion of your personal information at any time. To delete your account and associated data, use the Delete Account option in the Account tab of the application. Upon deletion, your account and personal information will be removed from our records and we will direct our service providers to delete your information from their records.
Please note that we may not be able to comply with deletion requests if it is necessary to complete an existing transaction, detect security incidents, comply with legal obligations, or otherwise use your personal information in a lawful manner.
V. Data Security and Breach Notification
The Company maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, acquisition, disclosure, or use. In the event of a security incident involving personal information, the Company will promptly investigate and provide notice to affected individuals and applicable regulatory authorities in accordance with applicable law.
VI. Children Under 13
The Company does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of 13, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this platform.
VII. Disconnecting Your Account From Third-Party Services
You will be able to connect your Company account to third-party accounts. BY CONNECTING YOUR ACCOUNT TO A THIRD-PARTY ACCOUNT, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU ARE CONSENTING TO THE CONTINUOUS RELEASE OF INFORMATION ABOUT YOU TO OTHERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH YOUR PRIVACY SETTINGS ON THOSE THIRD-PARTY SITES. You may disconnect your account from a third-party account at any time through the Account tab.
VIII. Email Communications
From time to time, the Company may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications, you may opt out by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by replying "STOP".
IX. External Data Storage
We may store your account data on servers provided by third-party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted, including Supabase for authentication and account management. Your Google Takeout files are processed locally in your browser and are never stored on these servers.
X. Changes to This Statement
The Company reserves the right to change this Policy from time to time. When changes to this Policy are significant, we will inform you via email or a prominent notice in the application. Your continued use of the application after such modifications constitutes your acknowledgment and agreement to the modified Policy.
